About Me
I am a Marine Veteran, and a father of two daughters. After serving in the Corps. I started working in the cable industry. Attending school at night earning my degree. Nevertheless, I had this underlying appetite for photography. As with any parent, to my daughters’ chagrin, I snapped a few thousand pictures of their sporting events and dance recitals
.
To earn a few extra bucks, my fellow parents would ask for images of their children and / or other social events. In my spare time I started attending seminars, purchasing lighting and other equipment to improve my skills. Eventually becoming the main professional portrait / event photographer for the cable company’s annual employee week and other cooperate events for several years. After 25 years of working in cable, I was laid off. Being a parent, struggling to make ends meet, I followed my passion for photography by creating a photo studio in my basement.
I have collaborated with local models, bands and business. Partnering with models, our mages were published in several small periodicals; some of the imageries appearing on the cover. Native bands also invited me to capture images for their social and other media needs. Working with a local karate studio, I capture & produce a mutli-page memento for those being promoted to Black Belt.
I specialize in event and portrait photography. A snap shot can capture a mood; remind you of a tender moment or change your emotion. An image also has the power to compel you to act or influence a person’s perspective. The philosophical definition of ego is the complete person comprising both body and soul. With this ethos, I will work closely with you throughout the venture to capture your life’s precious moment. Contact me today to start collaborating!
